Why is your online video service free of charge?

Bluestone came to realise that there are numerous video rights holders, who do not monetise their content. This is typically due to the cost of setting up or partnering to provide such a service. Bluestones systems were all written in house and use proprietary technology, meaning that there are no expensive software costs or licensing fees. Therefore Bluestone is able to off this service on a pure revenue share basis. This service is then presented to your customers either by subscription or via our advertising model.

How do I know become a Partner?

What payment mechanisms do you utilise?

We have a multitude of payment mechanisms at our disposal depending on the requirements. Typically we utilise PayPal and Ukash for both Web and Mobile services

Can I add an additional payment system?

As our proprietary system is modular, alternative payment solutions can be added on request.

Is this service available to both web and mobile web?

Yes this service is available to Web and Mobile devices

How do I upload my content?

There are a few way for us to obtain your content for provision of the service, these include FTP, Portable Data Truck (External Hard Disk) or if you have material on CD, DVD, etc. these can be sent to us directly for processing.

What format does my video content need to be?

To obtain the best quality to provide High Definition (HD) content, we prefer the following formats, MP4, MOV and MPEG2. SD Content is MP4, MOV, AVI and MPEG 2. Other formats can be encoded on request.

Will the content be regularly refreshed on the site?

We will endeavour to rotate or refresh the content as much as possible, but this is dependent on certain factors, such as content availability, etc.

Is there a reporting tool for activity on my sites?

Bluestone Media provides each customer with a branded graphical reporting and management tool as part of the service.

Who markets my new video portal?

Marketing is the sole responsibility of the partner, Bluestone Media’s role is to provide the service only.

How do I get paid?

The management console allows you to view current activity on your service and provides information on revenues earned. Bluestone Media will provide a monthly statement from which Bluestone Media can be invoiced.

How long does it take for the site become available?

Typically a new video portal will take 2 weeks to be provisioned, once this is completed, it is provided to customer for testing. Factors that may impact this are availability of content, additional payment mechanisms if any, domain name setup, etc.
